Abby & Nathan | Pastel summer wedding at St Bernard’s Catholic Church and Bella Donna

The first weekend of June brought a little rain, a lot of joy, and the sweetest celebration for Abby and Nathan. Their wedding day was filled with meaningful moments, beautiful pastel details, and one unforgettable dance party to end the night.

The day began with their ceremony at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church in Tulsa. Before walking down the aisle, Abby and Nathan shared a private first touch—one of my favorite moments of the day. While they chose not to see each other before the ceremony, they were able to hold hands around the corner, exchange heartfelt vows, and calm each other’s nerves before saying “I do.” It was such a sweet moment that perfectly reflected their relationship.

Although rain made an appearance throughout the day, it never dampened the excitement. There’s something incredibly romantic about a rainy wedding day, and Abby and Nathan proved that the weather is simply part of the story.

Their color palette featured soft pastel tones that perfectly complemented the season. From the blue bridesmaids’ dresses to the colorful pastel floral arrangements, every detail felt timeless, elegant, and full of early summer charm.

After the ceremony, everyone headed to Bella Donna Chapel in Catoosa for the reception, where the celebration truly came alive. The dance floor stayed packed all evening thanks to an incredible group of family and friends who came ready to celebrate.

One of the biggest surprises of the night was a special appearance from Pistol Pete! As proud Oklahoma State University alumni, having OSU’s beloved mascot join the reception made for an unforgettable moment. Guests immediately crowded the dance floor, and the energy reached a whole new level. It was such a fun way for Abby and Nathan to incorporate a piece of their college memories into their wedding day.
