Cate and Luke met in college at a school event. Cate saw that Luke was wearing a shirt with her favorite anime on it and knew she had to go compliment him on his shirt, even though this was out of her comfort zone. After this meeting, they started hanging out and the rest is history! These two tied the knot at Mike Fretz Event Center surrounded by their friends and family. The day was filled with meaningful moments, intimate touches, and a dance floor filled with good moves.

The thing I personally loved about these two was their positive upbeat attitudes, just happy to be marrying each other. Luke brought the emotion to the wedding day with some tears during the ceremony. Cate said one of her favorite moments of the day was seeing Luke cry as she walked down the aisle. Then again as he choked back tears getting through his vows. We can’t fake these adorable moments (& we have the pictures to prove it)!

During the reception – there were meaningful speeches from their loved ones that brought both tears and a LOT of laughter. Cate said they ended up choosing this venue because it had a large open space for dancing and let me tell you, the tore up the dance floor. This was a highlight of the night with Luke showing off some cool dance moves!

Before the ceremony, the ladies shared a special moment as they prayed over Cate and Luke’s wedding day and marriage. Ended with a HUGE group hug!

Cate and Luke wrote love letters to each other and put them in this box during the ceremony. They will save them and read them on their anniversary!

We fought strong winds and cold temperatures on this cold February – the entire family and wedding party were troopers!

I told Cate to look at her favorite person and she said said, “JESUS!”
