Malinda and Jesse got married in the middle of an Aspen forest on a rainy day in Steamboat Springs, mixing traditional elements with an elopement vibe. I’d say this is an off the beaten path location, because we never saw another person outside of the wedding guests. They wanted something small and intimate surrounded by nature, with the ceremony of a traditional wedding. Their ceremony was religious with tons of meaningful elements. One of my favorites elements was the foot washing ceremony, where Jesse’s brother read scripture over them. Malinda and Jesse’s wedding show that you can in fact mix a traditional religious ceremony with the elopement of your dreams!
