Mariah and Matt had a rustic January wedding at Bellissima Ranch in Sperry, Oklahoma. It was the perfect spot to host a celebration with their family and friends, as well as blend their families together. Mariah and Matt ended up choosing Bellissima Ranch because it has an airbnb attached which made the entire process easier with people flying in from out of town. Having this space for them and others to stay over and do an after wedding sleepover and after party was awesome. Their favorite part was being able to relax and unwind after a crazy day in their on-site hot tub!
Mariah’s favorite part of the wedding day was her first dance with Matt. You will see some shots of her laughing. What people didn’t know is that Matt was whispering a mixture of dad jokes and dirty jokes the entire time to make Mariah laugh.
One of my favorite trends right now is a private dinner for the bride and groom. Your wedding day goes by so fast and you often don’t have time to sit down and talk to each other. Mariah and Matt did their grand entrance then headed to the bridal suite for a private dinner while their guests were grabbing their dinner. This gave them the opportunity to each their own dinners without being interuppted while chatting about their wedding day and de-stressing together. Once they were finished, they rejoined the celebration and were able to walk around and talk to their guests without feeling hangry or stressed!
There were so many meaningful moments from the day. Mariah said he two most meaningful moments were her brother giving his speech and her niece playing a Beauty and the Beast song on the clarinet.
Mariah’s final thoughts were simple – marry your best friend, it is worth it!
