Molly & Simoun | Intimate fall wedding in Jackson, Wyoming

I don’t usually travel for weddings, but this one was worth every single mile. I had the absolute pleasure of capturing one of my best friends marry the love of her life in Jackson, Wyoming—a place that feels like it was made for moments this special. This is a special place for the two of them, because it is both the place they met as well as the day they met.

Molly and Simoun chose to have an intimate ceremony at the iconic Wedding Tree, tucked deep in the quiet of the Tetons. The air was crisp, the leaves were glowing in their perfect fall colors, and everything felt calm and unrushed—exactly what they wanted their wedding day to be.

Before the ceremony, we met at the very campground where they first crossed paths one year ago to the day. It was the sweetest full-circle moment. As we drove up, we even saw a bear cub on the side of the road, which somehow made the day feel even more magical—like nature was celebrating right along with them.

After their heartfelt vows beneath the expansive mountain views, we headed into town for a small lunch at Gather in Jackson Hole. It was simple, cozy, and filled with the people who know them best.

We ended the evening at Schwabacher Landing in Grand Teton National Park, where the sunset painted the mountains in warm golden tones. Molly and Simoun walked along the water, soaking in the last bit of light, and it was the perfect ending to a day filled with meaning, beauty, and the truest kind of love.

Traveling for weddings isn’t my norm—but this one will forever hold a piece of my heart.

If you do happen to be eloping or getting married in the Tetons, we don’t travel BUT my sweet friend Molly in this blog post is a crazy talented travel adventure photographer – so reach out to her! www.mollycrossphotography.com
