Sadie and Taren got married at The Springs wedding venue, which is the perfect rustic spot with the best lake views and natural outdoor beauty. No matter what time of year or time of day, the view is gorgeous! Their wedding was filled with blue colors and sunflowers.

First look with bridesmaids
I always love doing a first look with your bridesmaids. Once you are all ready, it is the ultimate hype moment with your favorite hype ladies!
The First Touch
Most people are familiar with a first look, but a first touch is where you don’t actually get to see each other but instead having a moment holding hands “the first touch” and having a special moment together before your wedding ceremony. This was one of Sadie and Taren’s favorite parts of their wedding day. It help them feel calm before the ceremony and let out some of those tears in the intimate moment.
We were trying to decide if Taren was going to cry as Sadie walked down the aisle. Most of us all said yes. As soon as Sadie started walking down the aisle, Taren burst out in the biggest uncontrollable smile…making Sadie smile like crazy. It was the absolute perfect walk down the aisle!
Sadie and Taren’s sweet friends sang and played their first dance song making it extra special
Taren gets Knighted
This was one I wasn’t quite expected and neither were their guests. Yes, Taren got Knighted! This was once of Sadie’s favorite parts of the day and she loved seeing everyones confused looks at first. Taren ended the little ceremony running into the crowd, sword up, and everyone cheered. It was quite the experience!
Evening photos:
We didn’t quite make it to the actual sunset with it being so late in July, but we headed back out for some evening shots with the gorgeous Skiatook Lake behind them!
Kristi works her magic creating a live painting of the couples first kiss down the aisle. Their guests loved coming up and watching her work during their reception.
Taren’s favorite part of the reception was hanging out with the boys, smoking cigars. The Oak and Smoke Mobile Cigar Lounge is such a cool thing to add to your wedding reception.
