Bright Morning Farms is a gorgeous property on 35 acres just outside of the city limits of Sand Springs. Their barn has a rustic country feel with reclaimed wood walls. Samantha and Cody got married on a gorgeous April evening with pretty darn perfect weather!
These two met when they worked at Lowes where they become friends (for 8 months) before hanging out and finally becoming more than friends. 8.5 years, 3 moves, 6 dogs (and countless foster dogs) later, these two finally got engaged! You could say it was time for a wedding!
There were so many special moments in their day from a sweet first look before their guests arrived, their friend Amber officianting the wedding, to their private last dance…and everything in between!

The details really make it. Cody’s cufflinks and the silver and blue matching necklace wrapped around Sam’s bouquet were made from the ashes of their beloved Pomeranian, Bentley, who passed suddenley of a heart attact on February 3rd. He was a huge loss for the two emotionally. How these two supported each other through his loss really cemented their love for one another even further. The knitted blue diamond and heart wrapped around the bouquet were made by Sam’s oldest neice, Sofia. I love when my couples incorporate such meaningful and special details into the wedding day!
One of the most meaningful moments of the day was when these newlyweds sat on the dock at sunset and just talked. Sometimes you just need a minute to get away from the party and spend some time just the two of you!
Sam and Cody’s cake cutting feather knife was a gift from Sam’s bridesmaid, Emily.
Sam and Cody ended the day with a private last dance while their guests went outside for the grand exit. Cody sang every word to the song they picked. The perfect way to end the perfect day!
A REVIEW FROM THE COUPLE:
Charley is an absolute godsend. We took our engagement photos with her back in August 2022, and immediately felt comfortable with her. She has these sweet little tricks to get you in your emotions, and captures them beautifully.
On Friday, she captured our wedding and was able to send us 30 “sneak peek” photos less than 12 hours after leaving the venue the previous evening!
Her work is exquisite! While she is definitely a busy woman, she makes you feel like a good friend who only has your wedding/family/event/photo shoot going on. Definitely an artist in her craft, and we couldn’t be more thankful for her.
