Sarah & Mitchell | A mauve spring wedding at Bluestem Manor

Sarah and Mitchell got married on a beautiful May day at Bluestem Manor in Sperry, Oklahoma. As guests started to arrive, all eyes were on the radar. For the 30 minutes leading up to the ceremony, we watched the forecast closely and talked through every backup plan. The chance of rain during their ceremony was hovering near 100% chance. Afrter careful considerations, Sarah and Mitchell decided to trust their original plan and move forward with an outdoor ceremony as planned. Friends and family gathered and somehow the rain held off. As the couple shared communion together, the clouds parted and the sun shone on them, almost like God’s way of saying “because you trusted me”.

The day was designed with timeless romance incorporating dusty rose, blush, gold, and whites to beautifully compliment the venue in a soft spring way. Sarah and Mitchell’s wedding day was a reminder that sometimes the best things happen when you just let go and embrace the plan God has for your day.
